With another lock down and tighter restrictions in place it is important we not only look after our own Mental Health, but our children's. Below are a few websites that help to promote positive well being.

Mental Health Awareness Week
18th - 24th May 2020
The Mental Health Foundation has chose the theme of 'Kindness'
as a focus for this important week.
'Kindness could transform our schools, places of work,
communities and families.
Let's shape a society that tips the balance in favour
of good mental health, for all of us,
but especially for those who are most vulnerable.'

Welcome to our Relationships, Sex Education and Health Eduation (R.S.H.E.) page
At Oakfield, we value all children and their families and R.S.H.E. is an integral part of our day. We have high expectations of all our children and we encourage good manners at lunch times by having a rolling powerpoint of the lunchtime expectations. We encourage all staff and children to be respectful to each other, share their views and opinions and we have regular assemblies and lessons on different cultures, good to be me, inclusion and staying safe.
All classes have circle time on Thursday morning, where any issues can be discussed and addressed. Along with weekly R.S.H.E lessons. At present we are following the 1Decision programme of study from Year 1 to Y6. Nursery and Reception use the Development Matters Programmes of Study.
