The class teacher is Miss Daniels who is supported by Mrs Myers and Miss McDonnell our teaching assistants.
The children have shown us how amazing they all are during the Autumn and Spring terms and we are looking forward to seeing them progress even further!
I know we are going to continue to have a lovely year and we cannot wait to watch all of the children learn and grow.
As we have to isolate due to Covid19, learning will take place online until we are able to return back to school.
Our first online learning session will take place tomorrow (18/06/2021).
Please see below for additional information.
Our topic this half term is multi-sports. We will be learning about the Olympic games and The World Cup, thinking about what sports we are good at and working together as a team. We will also be looking at how to keep our bodies fit and healthy and the best ways to look after ourselves.
Our focus story for the first part of the half term is Supertato Run, Veggies, Run. So far, the children have experimented with different sporting equipment, learning how to use them and finding new things that they are good at!
We will be using Evidence Me to update you on all of the fun things we learn about!
Our topic this half term is 'Space'. The children will be learning about the planets in our solar system and talking about how to look after our own planet. We will explore magnetic forces and investigate what life could look like elsewhere in space.
There was a strange crash landing in our class last week! We became detectives to investigate what may have happened...
We used 2D shapes to create our own rockets and mixed colours to make paintings of the Earth. Our wonderful creations are now displayed in our reading area.
