New DFE guidance for Relationships Education, Sex Education and Health Education for September 2020
Please follow the link to the new Department for Education statutory guidance relating to Relationships Education, Sex Education and Health Education. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/relationships-education-relationships-and-sex-education-rse-and-health-education
The guidance is statutory from September 2020, although schools are being encouraged to adopt the guidance early from September 2019. You will see, from the draft policy (below), that there will be very little that will change for us at Oakfield, however, can I ask you to please read over the guidance and draft policy and if you have any comments to make, send me an email at email@example.com as part of an early consultation. If I receive no objections to adopting the guidance and policy a year earlier than we are directed to, then we will go ahead from October 2019. This will also ensure we have everything in place for our next Ofsted inspection. Thank you.
