Summer Reading Challenge
The Summer Reading Challenge is an exciting and engaging way to encourage children to read throughout the summer break. All of the children have been given their Wild World Heroes collector poster so their journey can begin. Every time children read a book and visit the library they can collect special stickers to add to their poster, plus other Wild World Heroes themed incentives. When they have completed the challenge, they receive a certificate and/or medal for reaching their Challenge goal.
Summer Poetry Competition
We have had a large number of children entering our poetry competition and we would like to thank each and everyone who entered. The poems were fantastic and it was extremely difficult to choose the winners.
We do hope that you will continue to write fantastic poems and enter more of our writing competitions in the future.
Well done to you all!

World Book Day
We had lots of fun today dressing up for World Book Day. All of the children and staff made a great effort.
We completed different activities based around the story of Alice in Wonderland. We have been doing lots of super work based on the story this half term. The children and staff had a great day!
On the 8th January we had a visit from the fabulous and fantastic Jason Beresford, author of the Fabulous Four Fish Fingers books. He did an enthralling assembly with the whole school and then worked closely with the year 2 and year 6 classes. Here are some pictures of everyone enjoying working with Jason.
