SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Our Vision for SEND Provision

At Oakfield Primary School we believe all children deserve to experience success and all our staff are responsible for delivering this; we are all teachers of children with special needs. Through an inclusive and child centred ethos, along with a strong partnership between home and school, every child will achieve their potential.

At Oakfield we pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos. We believe in equal opportunities for all. Our staff are skilled in using a variety of strategies, when supporting children with a range of different needs and disabilities. It is important that the links between home and school are strong so we encourage parents/carers to speak with their child's class teacher or Miss McGuffie (SENDCo), about any concerns or queries. Appointments can be made by contacting the school office.
