SUN SAFETY

SUN SAFETY

As we get to the time of year when the weather is getting warmer, there is also the risks that come with the sun.  The children have been made aware of the positives about sunshine, but also about the risks. The message is SLIP, SLOP, SLAP, SLIDE, SHADE. SLIP a T-shirt on, SLOP some suncream on your hands, SLAP it on any bare skin, SLIP on your sun glasses and look for the SHADE when it is very sunny. Having a sun hat is also vital as your child will spend extended periods outdoors, learning and playing.

There is a catchy song you can help your child to learn, at;
